Group T1 who missed the class today & for those in T4 who did not attend today, please come to the Tuesday morning (9.30 AM) lecture in 1,203
there will be rearrangements in this week's teaching schedule to compensate for last week's missed lectures, and to ensure a smooth schedule this week for the hospital visits. All students must attend either Sunday or Tuesday, and I have double checked to make sure that this timing will suit all schedules.

You were given the OPTION to complete an online course with the American Heart Association OR to write a formal scientific essay on a topic from the list provided.
Your Essay will be graded on the basis of:
* content {trueness, scientific, appropriate referencing, proper reference style, relevance}
* mechanics {spelling, grammar, appropriate definitions, appropriate information, organization of information}
* structure {formal scientific paper}
Your Heart Association Certificate is a pass/fail course.
You may do both homework assignments for extra credit.
The details are in the lecture slide entitled, "HOMEWORK"
STUDY STYLES
In general, it is recommended that you print out the lecture and read it at least once, BEFORE our lecture together, so that you have some idea about the topic. Companion Lectures are also there to support your studying.
Please remember to keep a medical dictionary with you, so that you may define terms that you are unfamiliar with.
Please attend lectures so that you will understand the terms used in the slides.

MPH 342 STUDENTS:

The oral presentations will be graded on the basis of:
